CHÂTEAU PLAIZIRS – CUVÉE PRESTIGE

I settled as a young winegrower in 1988 in Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, following my parents’ footsteps who were winegrowers in Mazion, and producers of Pineau and Cognac in Charente region. In 1997, I inherited 3 hectares of vines from my parents, that I gathered with my husband’s lands, Dominique. The whole is grown in Bordeaux Supérieur appellation.
In 2013, I decided to buy from my brother 3 hectares of vines in Côtes de Bourg appellation, another fascinating playing terroir. He gave me the name « Château Plaizirs » as well, coming from my maiden name : Plaize. For me, the Cuvée Prestige of Château Plaizirs is a wine in which I endeavor to capture all the complexity of Bourg terroir and my frank winegrower personality, for your plaiZir!
