In our family, winegrowing is a passion that has been passed down from generation to generation. My grandfather, Alban, owned Château Les Martins. In 1978, my father, Jean-Michel, founded Château Haut La Valette before bringing the two estates together in 2000 to create a 25-hectare family vineyard. After studying viticulture and winemaking and gaining several years of professional experience, I joined the family estate in 2008 and took over its management in 2022. My ambition is to preserve our family’s expertise while bringing a modern approach, both in the vineyard through changes to the grape varieties we grow and in the winery to meet the expectations of today’s diverse wine consumers. Throughout the year, as the vine and the wine follow their natural cycle, our complementary personalities and shared expertise work together to strengthen and carry forward the family heritage that means so much to us.
